I love telling people the story of how I got started in this rewarding industry.

I grew up as a classically trained dancer, performing for years with the professional company Ohio Dance Theatre. Being on stage taught me discipline, creativity, and the power of transformation. I was captivated by the artistry of performance — especially the freedom and creativity of stage makeup. That early fascination with beauty never left me.

After relocating from Las Vegas to Tampa in 2011, I decided to turn my lifelong passion into a career. When I got married, I did makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother. The flawless, natural results in our photos caught everyone’s attention — soon I was receiving so many requests for special event makeup that my hobby quickly became a business I love.

I went on to earn my Certified International Makeup Artist designation through the QC Makeup Academy, and have since worked as a freelance artist for Giorgio Armani Beauty, traveling across Florida. I’ve also continued to refine my craft by attending masterclasses with celebrity makeup artists in New York and Miami. The name Beyond Blush represents my belief that makeup is more than just looking beautiful — it’s about feeling beautiful. My goal is to enhance your natural features and help you feel like the most confident, radiant version of yourself.
